Thursday's Manifest

Had it not been for Kempton, Wednesday would have been a very much better day. I have yet to meet anyone who likes betting there. Of course, there will be one or two out there who do consistently well at the course but it must be the most consistently lucrative courses (on turnover versus profit) the bookmakers have ever known. Unfortunately for them, it must also be one of the most underbet racecourses in racing history. Bring back turf is wot I say....

The afternoon meetings produced excellent results (87% top three combined and 100% Salisbury and Newcastle) - though the Select Picks didn't reflect that success.

Thursday's Best at Each Meeting:
Newmarket: 3-10 Manifest
Goodwood: 5-05 Fazbee
Ayr: 5-15 Ask Dan
Wolverhampton: 5-45 Sometsuke

The Owl:
(Lujano W 8/1 Wednesday)
2-55 Ayr:
Lake Chini

Top two strike rate (incl joints) was 58%. Best 2nd top SP was 9/1
Top three strike rate was 68%. Best 3rd top SP was 10/1

note: Unless there are overnight withdrawals there is always one clear top rated horse (in both services). There are never more than three horses (in either service) in the top two in any race where there are joint 2nd tops (one top rated two joint 2nd top). There are never more than four horses in the top three (in either service) in any race where there are either joint 2nd or joint third tops.

If a horse isn't in the top three rated of the handicaps or the speed ratings, then it is highly likely it won't win.
