A below par day, Wednesday - though the speed ratings provided some good priced winners and the (4) and (5) graded races recovered well from Tuesday's low top rated return.
On Thursday, Sounds Of Jupiter (4-35 Epsom) appears to be a couple of pounds ahead of the handicapper, making him a fair bet to complete the hat-trick.
Valid Point has a similar opportunity in Wolverhampton's 9-20. He failed on the All Weather over Christmas and the New Year, but that was over inadequate trips as he was being prepared for handicaps. The upping in trip makes him the typical Prescott sequence builder. The fact he previously did badly on the All Weather should help keep his odds positive.
The Handicap Ratings and Speed Ratings combined top three strike rate for Wednesday was 59% following Tuesday's 89%, Monday's 75% and Sunday's 90% -- an in-running weekly average of 78.25%.
There were four from six successful (4) and (5) UK graded races, Wednesday, giving a winning top two strike rate of 67% following Tuesday's 100%, Monday's 80% and Sunday's 75% -- an in-running weekly average of 80.5%.
The full top three summary for Wednesday:

note: Unless there are overnight withdrawals there is always one clear top rated horse (in both services). There are never more than three horses (in either service) in the top two in any race where there are joint 2nd tops (one top rated two joint 2nd top). There are never more than four horses in the top three (in either service) in any race where there are either joint 2nd or joint third tops.
If a horse isn't in the top three rated of the handicaps or the speed ratings, then it is highly likely it won't win.
