The Handicap Ratings and Speed Ratings combined top three strike rate for Monday was 65% following Sunday's 70% -- an in running weekly average of 67.5%.
There were five from seven successful (4) and (5) UK graded races, Monday, giving a 71 % winning top two strike rate following Sunday's 65% -- a 67% winning top two strike rate. The clear top rated winning strike rate was 57% following Sunday's 33% -- an in running weekly clear top rated strike rate of 45%.

If a horse isn't in the top three rated of the handicaps or the speed ratings, then it is highly likely it won't win.

Richard Hughes is a canny rider round Goodwood and should get normal front runner Australia Day (2-10) into a good position from a bad draw to reward an each way bet.
And Wellington Square (5-10) should get the furious gallop he needs to be seen at his best.
